The “Funa-Odori” is performed on the first Saturday of October. 

Nagasaki kunchi is the most famous festival. It is held from October 7 to 9 every year.

Said to have been started 350 years ago by Chinese people living in Nagasaki, Peiron Boat Races were used to offer prayers to the sea god.
