A regular car ferry with two ships and two routes that connects Takahama Port and Gogo Island. One route connects Takahama Port (Ehime Prefecture, Matsuyama City) and Yura Port of Gogo Island (Ehime Prefecture, Takahama City) in about 15 minutes. The other route connects Takahama Port with Tomari Port of Gogo Island (Ehime Prefecture Matsuyama City) in about 10 minutes.

[Features]
The Takahama-Yura Port ferry, named Island, carries up to 260 passengers and 26 vehicles. The Takahama-Tomari Port ferry, named Citrus carries up 150 passengers and 14 vehicles. This ferry began its operation in August 2018, is barrier free, and has cell phone recharging areas. Both ferries run 14 times every day.
Gogo Island is an island located in the beautiful oceans of the Seto Inland Sea of Matsuyama City. The island is 20 km in diameter, famous for producing citrus fruits that is rich in nature and has many areas to enjoy magnificant views. Various activities such as cycling and swimming in the ocean can be enjoyed here.

・Rental Bicycles: A bicycle can be rented at the port and can be used to explore the abundant nature and beautiful areas of the island.

・Kanonji: 5 minute walk from Yura Port / The temple is the first stop for the island Henro Path Pilgrimage, which has a history of 250 years. Within the island there are 88 stops and visiting all of them is said to have the same good fortune as visiting the 88 temples of the Shikoku Pilgrimage.

・Washigasu swimming area: 25 minute walk from Yura / The ocean waves are calm in this swimming area. With a white sand beach and long shallow areas in the ocean, visitors can enjoy swimming or walking on the beach while viewing the Kamose Island and Tsuru Island in the distance. In the summer, there are shops on the beach so visitors can enjoy barbeque and other marine sports besides swimming.

・Aikoga Beach swimming area: 13 minute walk from Tomari Port / There is a summer store on the beautiful beach in the summer so visitors can enjoy swimming, barbeque and other marine sports. It is considered the leisure area of Gogo Island.

・Lover's Hill: 20 minute walk from Tomari Port / A popular scenery viewing spot.

・Iyokofuji: 18 minute walk from Tomari Port / A 282 meter high small mountain with a smooth slope that is the symbol of Gogo Island. Visitors can enjoy the views of the ocean, hillsides, and the citrus tree farms that change with the seasons.
