A regularly operated sightseeing ferry in the downstream area of Mogami River of Yamagata Prefecture. It runs the 12km route from Furukuchi Port (Tozawa Town, Mogami County, Yamagata Prefecture) to Kusanagi Port (Tozawa Town, Mogami County, Yamagata Prefecture) in approximately one hour.

[Features]
About 15 ferries with a capacity of 40-60 passengers are being operated. Ferries are equiped with air conditioning and in winter some ferries have kotatsu (Japanese table heaters), providing a comfortable ride throughout the year.
Mogami River is one of the three most rapid rivers of Japan. Passengers can enjoy the beautiful seasonal views of the Mogami Gorge, including various waterfalls including the 124m long Shiraito Waterfall, considered to be one of the 100 most beautiful waterfalls of Japan.
Onboard, passengers can purchase the "Mogami River Oshin Lunch Box" filled with specialties from the Mogami and Shonai area (pre-booking required).
A must-see is the live singing of "Mogami Boat Song" in English, French, Chinese, and Korean, performed by the boatman with local Yamagata dialect accent.
Enjoy the beautiful seasonal sceneries of Japan and the traditional culture of river traveling in Japan.

・Gensou Forest (Fantasy Forest): a 15 minute drive from Kusanagi Port. A forest with large uniquely shaped Tochiyu sugi aka Shindai sugi (variety of Japanese red cedar).

・Dewa Sanzan Shrine: a 30 minute drive from Kusanagi Port. "Dewa Sanzan" is a collective name for Mt. Gassan, Mt. Haguro, and Mt. Yudono. An ancient pilgramage and worship site.
