A regular ferry service that connects Wakkanai Port (Hokkaido Wakkanai City) and the Oshidomari Port of Rishiri Island (Hokkaido Rishiri District) and the Kafuka Port of Rebun Island (Hokkaido Rebun District) by car ferry. A 1 hour and 40~55 minute ferry ride.

[Features]
The Rishiri Island - Rebun Island route operates three ferries that carries about 500 passengers and 55 passenger vehicles each. All the ferries are equipped with Wi-Fi, providing a comfortable voyage for the passengers.
Onboard, passengers can view the magnificent Rishiri Mountain which is known as the Mt. Fuji of Rishiri.
On the afternoon ferry ride, the view of a beautiful sunset on the Japan Sea can be enjoyed on board.

▪Rishiri island
・Rishiri Island: Located in the northern part of Hokkaido, Rishiri Island is an almost completely round island that is 63 km in diameter, rich in nature and found on the Japan Sea.
It is one of the main producers of Konbu seaweed and visitors can enjoy fresh seafood and the abundant nature on the island.

・Outdoor Activities: On the island, activities such as hiking, trekking, cycling, bird watching, snowboarding, backcountry skiing, surfing, sea kayaking, fishing and sea urchin hunting, Rishiri Konbu seaweed making and many other mountain and ocean activities can be enjoyed.

・Rishiri Mountain: 29 minute drive from Oshidomari Port to the entrance of the hiking trail. / Also known as the Mt. Fuji of Rishiri, the beautiful mountain is 1,721 meters high and attracts many hiking enthusiasts. A 360 panoramic view can be enjoyed from the top of the mountain.

・Himenuma: 7 minute drive from Oshidomari Port / A pond surrounded by primeval forests which has a 800 meter walking path that allows visitors to walk around the pond, listen to the wild birds and explore the area.
On a sunny day, the Rishiri Mountain is reflected on the pond surface so visitors can photograph an "upside down Fuji".

・Otatomari Pond: 28 minute drive from Oshidomari Port / The biggest pond on the island where visitors can view Rishiri Mountain, this area is popular among visitors as a place to walk around and enjoy the various plants, birds and rich natural surroundings.

・Senhoshimisaki Park: 39 minute drive from Oshidomari Port / A park with a unique landscape that was formed by volcanic lava entering the ocean. Depending on the time of year, visitors can feed the seals on the coast.

・Hill of White Lovers: 35 minute drive from Oshidomari Port / A place where visitors can take the same photo that is used on the packaging of the famous confectionary, "White Lovers" cookies.

・Kutsugatamisaki Park: 20 minute drive from Oshidomari Port / The park has a camping sight and in June, flowers such as beach roses and Hemerocallis esculentas can be seen in full bloom.

▪Rebun island
・Rebun Island: Located 29 km north and south and 8 km east and west of Rishiri Island, this island is hilly and long and abundant in nature.
Thanks to the cool climate, over 300 types of plants that are usually only found on high altitudes of 2,000 meters can be seen here, giving it the name the "Island of Flowers".
There are 7 trekking courses where visitors can enjoy the views of Rishiri Island that floats on the blue ocean and the high land flowers and plants.

・Cape Sukai: 29 minutes from Kafuka Port / A tourist spot popular for taking SNS photos of the clear and cobalt blue ocean.

・Northern Canary Park: 5 minute drive from Kafuka Port / A location used to film a movie where visitors can enjoy a magnificant view of Rishiri Mountain.

・Minai Shrine: 5 minute drive from Kafuka Port / A rare shrine in which the main entrance of the shrine faces the ocean. A popular photo spot where visitors can take a picture of Rishiri Mountain in between the Torii.

・Momo Iwa / Neko Iwa (Peach Rock / Cat Rock): 16 minute drive from Kafuka Port / Rocks that look like a large peach and the round back of a cat staring out into the ocean.
